Wearable Smart Baby Monitor

In recent years, the trending applications of smart materials is that they can accurately detect, track and measure the heart rate, blood pressure, calories and even footsteps of a person by the combined use of wearable devices and the smart sensors. Certain wearable devices for adults can easily track the mental state by using breathing patterns of a patient. This device helps the person to reduce their stress and also inspires him/ her to stay calm throughout the day.

Similarly, for neonates, a team comprising of new parents and former engineers at Apple and Google, invented a innovative monitor called "Sproutling Baby Monitor" that help the parents to know how their baby is doing when there is no movement or noise, or at times when a parent cannot pay full attention to their babies. This monitor gathers 16 different measurements including the sleeping habits of a baby.


Sproutling Baby Monitor combines the use of three different elements:

This device does not create any harm to the babies since it is hypoallergenic and breathable. There is no toxic glues used in the wearable bands and this is designed in such a way that it should be highly safe and compatible.
